Department On January 14, 1999, the department of physics was established through the authorization of the Ministry of Education of R. O. C. Based on the need to strengthen the Armed Forces, education on the Chinese Military Academy is focused on the content of ¡§philosophy, science, and military studies.¡¨ We strive to provide each our student with the equivalent of a university education, and offer opportunities for in-depth study in the physics areas |

| During
the four years at C. M. A., the cadets of our department are required to
finish 131 credits for graduation, which include 66 credits of the required
physics courses and 20 credits (at least) of the elective courses on the
physics. As the educational goal oriented department, we aimed to the fields
¡§optoelectronics, semiconductors, and biophysics.¡¨ At present, there are
9 laboratories such as optoelectronics, semiconductors, biophysics, material
science, light scattering, numerical analysis,?, etc. All labs are equipped
with excellent facilities on their special fields. In summary, it our goal
to endow our students becoming a modern officer who are well-versed in both
civil and military knowledge, and who are both competent and morally upright.¡C
The C. M. A. was reestablished at Fengshen in Taiwan in 1950, and a four-year university education was adopted in 1953. The large and beautiful campus provides an excellent environment for learning. Here is the training center of the military leader of R. O. C. |
