The R.O.C. Military Academy, as the only college specifically charged with preparing young people for service as army officers, has a unique educational philosophy. Cadets must be enlightened military leaders of strong moral courage whose minds are creative and resourceful.
General academic courses provide an essential core of knowledge in the fields of liberal arts and military engineering with emphasis on problem solving. Advanced and elective courses allow the individual cadet to major in a specific area of interest. The academic program, combined with the military, physical and leadership programs, forms the four major aspects of the integrated educational system and are responsible for preparing the cadets to be commissioned officers and to achieve the educational goal of this Academy. |
