Every year on the sixteenth day of June, the R.O.C Military Academy's officers, instructors, and cadets, along with alumni and distinguished guests from every part of the country and abroad, gather on the Whampoa campus to celebrate the founding anniversary of the academy's founding.
Besides the magnificent decorations adorning the campus and the solemn review of the cadets, on this momentous day the academy is opened to the public, and a wide range of events are held, including tours of the academy history museum and the War of Resistance against Japan memorial hall, a campus party, various artistic and cultural activities, and non-competitive ball games. These activities attract thick crowds and stimulate a festive atmosphere. The academy's anniversary celebration is something that you really have to experience in person. |
