The Eternal Glory of the Whampoa Spirit：
　　The Academy flag was designed by Chief Instructional Officer General Ho Ying-chin, who acted under instruction of the 1924 Academy Affairs Conference. The honorary banner on the upper portion of the flag was added in 1957 to commemorate the Academy's successful transition to a four-year system.
